Scoring
Interpretation
Scores obtained by using the WJ III NU: SS, GE, AE, PR, RPI, instructional
ranges; and developmental level bands.
Each WJ III NU Test Kit includes the WJ III NU Compuscore and Profiles Program at no additional charge. With this program, you enter the raw scores and the software quickly and accurately provides all derived scores for tests and clusters, eliminating hand-scoring errors. The Summary Report (English or Spanish), contains a brief narrative description of test performance and incorporates information from the Test Session Observations checklist. The report and table of scores can be easily imported into a word-processing program for integration into a more extensive report. The program also provides age/grade profiles and standard score/percentile rank profiles.

The program:
Interpretive Resource
The Report Writer for the WJ III is a valuable interpretive resource for
practitioners. The program's interpretation is based on the insights of
Dr. Richard Woodcock, the senior author of the WJ III. Using the
program allows practitioners to take advantage of Dr. Woodcock’s insights
by incorporating his interpretation into their reports. The program produces an
accurate and comprehensive report and allows practitioners more time to focus on
other aspects of the assessment, such as background information, reason for referral,
clinical impressions, and recommending appropriate and helpful interventions.
System Requirements
The Report Writer for the WJ III® includes a Windows® and a Macintosh® based software program on CD-ROM, and software instructions.

Note: Scores generated by the Report Writer for the WJ III are based on the original WJ III norms, not the WJ III Normative Update norms. The next generation of Report Writer software, the Woodcock Interpretation and Instructional Interventions Program™ (WiiiP ™), will be available in fall 2007 and will utilize norms from the WJ III Normative Update. The WiiiP will offer practitioners an expert system for interpreting test results and will provide a direct link between assessment data and evidence-based instructional interventions.
